About Me
Keep the Faith.
Welcome to what could be the first step in your journey to living your best life. My name is Sara Watts and I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP). Originally from Northern California I have landed in Florida and love what the area offers my family. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and a Masters Degree in Psychology and have spent the majority of my career counseling clients. I am licensed in California, Colorado and Florida but can expand nutritional counseling throughout other states. In March of 2021 I was fortunately diagnosed with breast cancer. I say fortunately because I would not have taken charge of my health and wellness and I would not be here offering these supportive services.
I am dedicated to guiding the health and wellness of each client using the principle of bio-individuality, meaning there is no-one-size-fits-all approach. Your current circumstances, challenges, environment, lifestyle, bodily strengths and weaknesses and goals all influence what will serve you best at any given moment. Together we will come up with a growth plan that will work for you and your current needs.
I am dedicated to the whole person approach. Supporting mental health has been a passion of mine from as far back as I can remember and love that I can now add holistic nutrition if that is something you may be interested in.

My Approach to Services
Bio-Individual Intake
I believe everyone deserves to enjoy a healthy, happy lifestyle and all that comes with that. We will work together to come up with an individualized approach to your wellness journey based on your intake information.
Holistic Counseling
We take a look from a more integrated lense, focusing on the emotional, physical and spiritual forms of wellbeing. We will attempt to understand and address the ways issues in one aspect of a person can lead to concerns in other areas.
Ongoing Support
Once a client, always a client (as long as I’m working.) I completely understand life gets in the way of life and will encourage you to reach out and set up an appointment if you begin to struggle or need to get back on track.
FAQs
Answers to Your Questions
What is nutritional counseling?
Nutritional therapy centers on the idea that real health can be achieved through a holistic bio-individual approach to nutrition and lifestyle.
What is counseling?
Counseling is the process of meeting with a therapist to resolve problematic behaviors, beliefs, feelings and/or relationship issues. It involves examining and gaining insight into life choices and difficulties.
Can I combine them both?
Yes, a lot of times they go hand in hand but if you have a specific issue that will need additional time like trauma, depression, anxiety, substance use (and you live in California, Colorado and Florida) we will likely need additional sessions.
Do you take insurance?
I am licensed as a Marriage, Family Therapist in both California, Colorado and Florida and am on various insurance panels. Since everyone has a different plan, co-pay, deductible please reach out with individual questions.
What if I don’t live in California, Colorado or Florida?
Great question. If you are outside of my licensed states I am unable to provide intensive therapeutic interventions legally and ethically but you are able to sign up for nutritional therapy, to include lifestyle counseling.
